You may not know it, but ALIGN is actually part of a bigger organization called New Founding. New Founding is completely devoted to supporting a pro-American economy, rebuilding a media universe that shares our values, and helping you live a more human life free from things like impersonal, globalized corporations, the hectoring assaults of woke tyrants, or the malicious manipulations of Big Tech.
With that common mission in mind, we are absolutely thrilled to announce the launch of the ALIGN Podcast! Several times per month, New Founding’s own Bart Lomont will bring you interviews from business owners who love America and Americans and who are making products in and for their country. Bart is President of Principal Investments, the investment arm of New Founding that will be working more closely with us here at ALIGN to support the types of businesses that we feature in this newsletter week in and week out.

This week, the ALIGN Podcast features Authentically American, a clothing brand that makes their clothes in America, by Americans. Not only does Authentically American make custom orders for all of your branded t-shirt and merchandise needs, they also donate 10% of their profits to charities that focus on veterans and first responders. Take a listen to hear Bart Lomont talk with Dean Wegner–a veteran, a Christian, and the founder of Authentically American–as he tells his incredible story.
This week revealed to us just how important aligned businesses like Authentically American are. Carhartt has long been seen as the clothing of the working man, but they just announced that they will keep their vaccine mandate even though the Supreme Court said it’s not legally required. We’ve got a better, patriotic menswear brand for you called Kennesaw Co. that would never disrespect its customers’ values. The town of Kennesaw, Georgia, where the company is located also has a mandate: Every household in the town is required to own a gun.
Building A Movement
ALIGN strives to produce much more than a newsletter. We’re building a movement—a movement of people who refuse to buy from businesses that hate them; a movement of businesses committed to the common good; a movement that puts our country’s flourishing first and values our citizens’ success beyond rote measurements like GDP and corporate earnings. We’re excited to launch this new podcast and we hope you’ll listen. But we also want you to know that this is only the beginning.
